We’re not all created equal. Each of us has our own biomechanics and preferences when it comes to interacting with our bows, and the grip forms one of the most important connections.

At RI, we’ve worked in conjunction with archers to create a curated collection of replacement grips, all 3D printed to order from various plastics.

OK Absolute Compound Bow

This grip builds on the quality and craftsmanship of this signature bow by increasing the width of the grip while reducing the filleting of the edges resulting in less torque in the hand.

The grip comes in three variants: a flat (or neutral) palm face, a 5º “twist” to the left (usually for RH) or a 5º “twist” to the right (usually for LH).

The vertical angle of  the grip matches the lines of the riser.

Petron Bow

Designed for use with the entry level ambidextrous bows produced by Petron, this grip aids the novice archer by:

  • Creating a wider “palm-print” to better support hand placement. This in turn helps reduce the side-to-side torquing of the bow in the hand.
  • Raising the grip to a higher position to help alleviate wrist fatigue.
  • Providing tactile feedback on the bow hand so the archer is aware of hand/palm placement on the grip.

This grip is also ambidextrous so the bow can continue to be used by both LH & RH archers.
